Aphilanthropic organization founded by Monique Van Ness,post the massive earthquake of January 12 ,2010 that layed waste to many parts of the of the Republic of Haiti.

Haïti,is nestled on the western edge of the isle of Hispaniola,in the Caribbean Sea.

Haiti,once the pearl of the French Empire,free and and independent since 1804,a tropical land of warm blue green oceans,white sanded beaches,rich in natural resources,naturalbeautiful,scenic landscapes and warm hearted people.

Haiti has known its share of political strife and instability and turmoil;in addition to natural disasters.

We at SORD seek to educate,foster hope and peace,nourish and nurture,protect and shelter,the most vulnerable ones;the children ,tomorrow’s hope_as best as we might!

And with your help these end-goals: the building of cantines,dispensaries,food pantries,orphelinas,schools,strategic farming and the import of crucial goods a d materiel_will come to fruition and realized.

It has become our mission at SORD…with our network of coordinators,chapters,field workers,volunteers and great friends abroad,TO WORK FOR THE BETTERMENT OF THE OFT FORGOTTEN OF SOCIETY …THE CHILDREN!
